About us
Dedicated to helping mission-driven leaders deliver on philanthropic engagement, Jennifer gets to the heart of what motivates giving.
For more than 20 years, she has focused on the intersection of strategy, resource development, and communications to maximize growth across healthcare, education, social services, the arts, faith-based communities, and select small businesses.
After pursuing an early passion for theater arts, she made a pivot into development and fundraising publicity at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles during their $750 million campaign. At McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School, she contributed to the success of the $100 million comprehensive campaign as a Major Gifts Officer. She served as Director of Development at The Second Step, Inc. for survivors of domestic violence, Director of Development and Communications at JCDS, Boston’s Jewish Community Day School, Director of Stewardship at Dexter Southfield School, and on the marketing team at Gravyty, a fundraising technology platform using A.I. to help nonprofits engage donors at scale.
Throughout her career, a common thread has been connecting with an audience. Whether that’s a one-on-one major gift conversation, a fundraising appeal, or a training workshop, she applies strategic acumen and storytelling skills to deliver messages that resonate, inspire, and persuade.
Born in Asia and raised in the Boston area, Jennifer is a cum laude graduate of the Buckingham Browne and Nichols School, a cum laude graduate of Columbia University, where she was awarded the Dean Hawkes Memorial Prize for excellence in the humanities, and a graduate of the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard University.
She founded Cold Spring Consulting Group in 2022 to help fellow nonprofit professionals do the best work of their lives.
